The lecture will explain the definitions and clinical signs of erosive tooth wear and show the evidence for the prevalence. Then address the risk factors and how you might introduce these steps into your clinical practice. It will show how to use the BEWE (Basic Erosive tooth wear examination) a screening tool, used to record and advise on management. Finally, we will explain what advice can be given for prevention to reduce the risk of progression. There will be time for questions at the end.
